Humanitarian aid for Cuba denied entry into the US! Protesters occupy lot directly in front of US border, vowing not to leave until aid let through!

On Sunday July 1st, US customs stopped a truck full of humanitarian aid destined for Cuba. This shipment of aid is part of the 23rd Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba, and includes items such as medical supplies like wheelchairs, educational supplies and sports equipment which were collected from various cities and communities throughout British Columbia, Canada.

The very successful 6th International Colloquium for the release of the Cuban 5 held in U.S. prisons took place from November 17th-22nd 2010 in Holguín, Cuba. Over 300 delegates representing over 50 countries came together to help plan and organize the world-wide campaign to free the 5 Cuban Heroes who have been unjustly held in U.S. prisons for over 12 years.

Please join us for a report from the International Colloquium that will be presented by two members of the Free the Cuban 5 Committee-Vancouver who travelled to Cuba to be part of the this important event. The report will include documentary and multimedia from the case and the conference.
