For International Women’s Day 2019 we will be gathering to “Celebrate Revolutionary Women of Cuba, Venezuela & the World.” Let’s come together and celebrate the gains of women around the world in their struggles for justice and equality! Since the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in 1959, the women of Cuba have been making tremendous gains in the struggle for women’s rights and equality, organizing a “Revolution within the Revolution” that continues to move forward today. Over the last 20 years of the Bolivarian Revolution, women in Venezuela have also made great advances in all sectors of society from healthcare and education to politics. Our objective is the tenacious denunciation and demands for information about the thousands of women who have been disappeared, abused, and murdered. Stop feminicide! Let's raise our voices in a universal cry that tears down the walls of silence! This action will be carried out in the heart of every consenting woman.
